Deep Thought 13

How come it is stupid to drill for oil because it will not provide immediate relief, yet it is smart to spend millions in tax dollars to fund alternate forms of energy- many of which still exist in the realm of science fiction, and will not provide immediate relief either.

NO KIDDING!! And what about that lame $1000 tax refund that really only equates to people being able to offset the high gas cost for only 3 months? Like that's going to make us vote for Osama, oh, I mean, Obama.

$1k will only offset the hike in gas prices caused by taxation of the oil company. That's right... Obama's plan is to fund the checks with "windfall profits tax" on the Oil Companies. Sounds brilliant to me.
