There has been a huge scientific discovery- one that is sure to change the face of the planet forever. Drumroll... are you all ready...here it is...
"Higher CO2 levels may be good for plants"
Wow. Plants like carbon dioxide? Really? You mean if you feed something more it gets bigger? Really?!
First- kudos to the German Scientists who spent thousands of man hours studying what every fifth grader in the US already knows.
Second- Kudos to the mainstream media for actually reporting this as news, again proving that they are not smarter than a 5th grader. (super level up bonus points for pop culture reference.)
If you read down in the story, the special olympic scientists are now going to see if warmer weather affects how plants grow. Here is a non educated guess- but solely looking at warm, co2 filled tropical climates- aka rainforests- I would say that warm weather does help plants to grow.

Deep Thought no. 11
“In distinguishing communism from the United Order, President David O. McKay said that communism is Satan’s counterfeit for the gospel plan, and that it is an avowed enemy of the God of the land. Communism is the greatest anti-Christ power in the world today and therefore the greatest menace not only to our peace but to our preservation as a free people. By the extent to which we tolerate it, accommodate ourselves to it, permit ourselves to be encircled by its tentacles and drawn to it, to that extent we forfeit the protection of the God of this land.”- Marion G. Romney, “America’s Promise,” New Era, Mar 1980, 4
“I suggest we consider what has happened to our agency with respect to contributing to the means used by the bureaucracy in administering government welfare services.
In order to obtain these means, one head of state is quoted as saying, “We’re going to take all the money we think is unnecessarily being spent and take it from the ‘haves’ and give to the ‘have nots’ that need it so much.” (Congressional Record, 1964, p. 6142—Remarks of the President to a Group of Leaders of Organizations of Senior Citizens in the Fish Room, Mar. 24, 1964.)
The difference between having the means with which to administer welfare assistance taken from us and voluntarily contributing it out of our love of God and fellowman is the difference between freedom and slavery.” - Marion G. Romney, “Church Welfare Services’ Basic Principles,” Ensign, May 1976, 120
